Our Barn’s Story
In 1998 Barbara and Darrell Campbell purchased a ranch in Hearne, TX. Many years of enjoyment and dreams later when Darrell passed away, Barbara decided she needed to dream a new dream. Using the virgin ranch land of the ranch God had already given, seemed like the right fit.
Together with Mollie, the oldest of her three kids, they drew up the idea for Always Timeless Barn, a event venue that would serve couples of all backgrounds and give everyone the opportunity to have a really special wedding.
We opened in 2021 and have been growing and improving ever since! What makes ATB unique is our commitment to providing an environment to DIY as much or as little as need. We want our wedding venue to be accessible from payment plans, to personal access to our family. We love weddings where everyone contributes a little to make a magical day, and we want every couple to leave believing in a little bit of magic.
The Venue Visionaries
Barbara & Mollie are the mother/daughter duo behind ATB! They love getting to work together but their favorite thing is the amazing relationships they get to build with the ATB couples.
Barbara Campbell began her career as a social worker, and then as an amazingly patient mom and wife. Now she is the most patient, and kind wedding venue owner out there. Many of our couples say that her kind heart and individual attention to each couple is what makes their day so special.
Mollie Campbell-Onderdonk wears many hats at the wedding venue she executes set-up visions, and make sure the bride and groom are taking the little moments to enjoy their special day. She and her husband spend the first 3 years of ATB completing many projects and labors of love. Now that her husband is stationed in Del Rio as a pilot for the Air Force, she is also the resident ranch manager and website designer.
Our Family
Family is our foundation and helping couples start their own family unit is so sacred to us.
We are a diehard family of Aggies with: Barbara ‘88, Mollie ‘19, Mark ‘20, Maddie ‘24 PLUS Mollie’s husband Will ‘19 and Maddie’s Fiancé Josh ‘23. (Yes Maddie and Josh are having there wedding here 2025!)
Barbara’s two other kids: Mark and Maddie have full time jobs of their own have always helped out at the barn. Our family put in the insulation by hand during the barns construction, and Mark and Maddie have filled many a last minute parking attendant or set-up need.
Barbara’s mom, Grandma Patty, irons every white table cloth for our weddings, and Barbara’s sister, Brenda, often works events as an event assistant.
We are so grateful for our entire family and the help and support they continue to give. We couldn’t do this without them, nor would we want to!

When Mollie’s husband Will left for his next journey with the Air Force, the Barn knew that it would be no small task to replace all of the jobs he tackled for us. We are so blessed by our great team of student workers who are absolutely the backbone to so many of the heavy labour, and agricultural related jobs around here.
Jacob ‘25, John ‘25, Matthew ‘27, and Makena ‘27 we are so grateful for you, and your hard work, dedication, and care for every wedding we get to host out here.
Our wedding was perfect! It was flawless. We cannot thank you enough for everything you did to make our day so incredible. Always Timeless is such a stunning venue, we hope to see it continue to be a blessing forever. One million times, Thank you !
